The short version
Hookwright sets no cookies, loads no third-party scripts and counts no visits. It remembers three small preferences in your own browser so the site looks the way you left it.
Cookies and local storage
Two different things, both covered by EU law.
Cookies are small files a site asks your browser to send back on every visit. Local and session storage keep data in your browser without sending it anywhere. EU rules allow storing information on your device without consent when it is strictly necessary for a feature you asked for, like remembering the theme you picked.
What this site stores
Three keys, all in your browser.
| Key | Where | Purpose | Kept |
|---|---|---|---|
hw-theme | Local storage | Remembers light or dark theme | Until you clear it |
hw-accent | Local storage | Remembers the accent colour | Until you clear it |
hw-preloaded | Session storage | Skips the intro animation after the first page | Until you close the tab |
None of these values is sent to us or to anyone else.
Third parties
None are loaded on this site.
Buttons such as “$WRIGHT · soon on Programmable” and links to X, Telegram or DEX Screener take you to other sites, which have their own cookie policies. Nothing from them is loaded until you click. The host, Vercel, processes technical request data to deliver pages but sets no cookies.
How to clear it
Clear this site's data in your browser settings, or use a private window. The site works the same without stored preferences; it just goes back to your system theme and the default accent.
Changes
If the site ever needs a cookie or a third-party script, this page will be updated before it ships, and a consent request will appear where the law requires one.
